Incredible competence and flexibility. Our entire family has trusted Jim Davis for over 30 years. The Mercedes place couldn’t find tires for our 1990 560 SEL (after 3 days!), basically gave up (!?) and said we’d have to get new rims anyways. I took it to Jim Davis who overnight sealed the rims, got all the tires I needed, and I saved A BUNDLE.
I used to take my 1991 Toyota in and say, “I got $162 – do what you can to make it legal and not kill me.” Jim would explain what was fixed, everything needed later, and what could be ignored.
I got the AAA Plus membership just so I could tow it up to 100 miles to these guys.

5 Plus stars = I can’t believe that I have never done a review for these guys. This is the only place I always feel super confident that I will be treated right with any car related issue. They are overly honest, helpful, and affordable. My husband and I have taken our cars here for at least 10 years – from a simple oil change to new brakes – these guys are the best.

My car died in the parking lot of the VCA right next door to this auto shop. I walked over and asked if the guys would come take a look—they were super friendly and helpful and came right over, jumped my battery to get my car working again, and offered to put in a new battery since my battery was on the older side. The battery replacement took ten minutes (so glad it was quick since my cat was waiting in the vet) and seems to have been very reasonably priced. So happy my car broke down next to these guys, they made a bad day turn quickly into a better one!
BJ is very responsive and honest! I am so happy to find a car shop that actually helps you and not try to get you to pay a bunch more stuff. i can tell that BJ definitely cares for his customers. I came in for a misfire issue and he fixed it within a couple of hours! Another time I had my engine light on he kindly made time to check what was the issue despite being fully booked, and honestly told me that it was only a loose gas cap issue…
